The 2020 Welcome to Texas Shootout to be held in San Antonio on September 5-7 has been cancelled, according to USA Water Polo. The Dallas Summer Classic, and the Zilla Beach Tournament have also been called off and are now removed from the Southwest Zone competition calendar.
The news comes as many Texas school districts and local governments have set guidance for schools to remain online only at least until the week of September 7 due to concerns about Covid infection and spread.
