Can you believe it? Season 2 of the TXWaterpolo Podcast kicks off with a bang featuring two of the biggest names in American water polo, Adam Wright and Merrill Moses, both visiting Dallas to school some Texas youth on fundamentals.

UCLA Head Coach Adam Wright talks (in the car) about the suspended MPSF season, shares his thoughts about adding Austin College to the men’s conference, and enters the fray in the decades-long discussion of “American” vs. “European” styles of play at the USA national team level.

Then Merrill Moses, Pepperdine Assistant Coach, talks about the Texas camp he’s heading, the Golden Coast Conference and the Waves’ successes, including its 1997 NCAA Championship, and about going from out-of-shape real estate developer to Olympic silver medalist in just two years.

All that, plus Joe and James vamp about changes to the Southwest Zone calendar, and can’t help but talk about the ways this virus is changing so much in the sport, here and throughout the US.
