We’re basically one year away from Texas’ first ever state sanctioned high school water polo season. So, where are we? How did we get here? What’s it going to look like beginning in August of 2021? What needs to be done before then? James has no answers, but – this is a shocker – Joe does.

We also talk about the passing of an American water polo legend, Andy Burke. He was most associated with the Olympic Club located in San Francisco. But, it turns out, he had a connection with Texas as so many others do.

And we finish with Joe’s conversation with Kris Jones, an aquatics director for the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (known by everyone who has a pulse as Cy-Fair). The two discuss the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (aka TISCA), how Covid is changing everything in the Houston aquatics world, and what it might look like a year from now in the fall high school water polo season.
